Patrick (Pat) Walsh
Thursday, May 16th, 2024

Patrick Joseph Walsh, Beechfield and formerly of Dysart, Stradbally Road and Ivy Cottage, Headford, Co. Galway.

Peacefully at Portlaoise Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Tess Walsh (née McBride), loving father of Nial (RIP), Fiona and Colum, fond grandfather of Fynn, Erika, Ashling and Freya. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, his son-in-law Neil and daughter-in-law Maria, his sister Una, brothers Jim and Tom, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and extended family. He will be greatly missed by neighbours, friends and many long-standing colleagues from An Garda Síochána.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Friday, 17th May, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Removal from there on Saturday, 18th May, to St. Peter and Paul’s Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. There will be a private cremation next week. Family flowers only, please.

Cathal Lalor, Wedgewood, Dublin 16, formerly of Ratheniska.

Suddenly at home. Beloved son of the late Jack and Gretta Lalor, and brother of the late Jack.

Cathal will be forever loved and sadly missed by his sister Sheila, sister-in-law Mary, niece and nephews, grand-nieces, extended family relatives and friends especially those in the Irish Rambling Club.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, (D6W AC82) on Thursday (16th May) afternoon from 3pm – 5pm. Removal on Friday (17th May) morning to the Church of the Ascension of The Lord, Balally, (D16 EO32) arriving for 9.30am Requiem Mass, burial thereafter in Ratheniska Cemetery, Co. Laois. Approximate time of arrival is 12.30pm.

Kay Rankin (nee Redmond) Kathleen (Kay) of Wayside, Old Knockmay Road.

Pre-deceased by her husband Henry, parents Paddy and Bridget, sister Margaret (Meaney) and brother Joseph.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Molly (Kavanagh), Lucy (Byrne), and her brother Jimmy, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, and large circle of friends.

May Kay’s gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday 8th from 4pm-8pm, with Rosary at 8pm (both evenings).

Requiem Mass on Thursday 9th May at 12 noon in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, followed by internment in Ratheniska Cemetery.
