Esther (Babs) Whelen nee Downey, Dr Murphy Place.
Esther entered into her eternal life peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her daughter Brigid, parents, brothers, sister and in-laws. Dearly loved mother to Willie, Sean, Mary, Anne, Gereldine, Martina, Christine and Aisling. Cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters in law, sons in law, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Friday, July 26th, from 6pm to 8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church at 12 noon https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.
