Jean Fitzpatrick, (Nee McEvoy) The Hermitage.
Passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family with great courage & dignity on the 28th of November 2024. Beloved wife and best friend of Billy, much loved mother of Carol, Kenneth, Gerard and James. Adored Gran to Barry, Oisin, Jamie, Joshua, Ben, Ruairi, Roisin, Billy and Zach and her soon to be first great granddaughter Maisie Jean, mother-in-law to Colin, Yvonne, Michelle and Paula. Dearest sister of Mary, Phyllis, Esther, Davie, Michael, Thomas, Anthony, Geraldine and Noel.
Jean will be forever loved and greatly missed by all her nearest family, extended family and friends. And especially all he former friends and customers at Jeans Cake Shop.
Reposing at her home (R32 CX5P) on Sunday, 1st December, from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. with prayers at 6.30 p.m. Removal on Monday, 2nd December to St. Peters Church, Market Square, Portlaoise arriving at 2.00 p.m. for a celebration of Jean’s life followed by burial in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery.
