Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Son of the late Catherine and Thomas Shiels. Predeceased by his sisters Phyllis and Kathleen and brother-in-laws Christy and Patsy. Deeply regretted by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-niece, relatives, neighbours and former colleagues in Glanbia.

Reposing at his nieces residence at Aghnaharna (R32N67W) on Thursday’ October 10th from 6pm to 8 pm and Rosary on Friday at 8pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery.
