Happy memories of a childhood where we spent a few years together living in Raheen. In later years it was good to exchange letters and cards. Thinking of Kathleen and all her family today.
Sad today to learn of my 1st cousin Kathleen’s passing. But such happy memories as children in Raheen where Kathleen grew up and where our family often visited. My brother Billy & I & Kathleen played well together and in the evenings as was the custom then, accordion music & sing song. Kathleen, a good singer, prompted by Aunt Peg, would entertain us with, “Far Away in Australia” followed later on by “Down by the Green Bushes” A happy, lively
lively girl, we were still in communication, Rest in Peace, Kathleen. Condolences to Gertie, Owen, Michael, John, relatives & friends.
We have lovely memories of our warm and lovely cousin. She made us very welcome when we visited, and her letters always brought a smile. Stories of Kathleen and my Dad, Joe, growing up showed her sense of fun began at an early age!
Our condolences to Gertie, John, Michael and the rest of the family.
Our love Kathleen, Rest in Peace.
